For this project, I struggled with animation, although I think I made much progress by the end of the assignment. Looking back, there are a few things I would have tweaked, for example having some awkward pauses and inconsistencies throughout the animation. Overall, I'm quite proud of my final product. I choose dress to impress because it's a silly game that I play with my friends, and and my roommates are always trying on outfits to go out in front of one another. So, I thought it would be a great way to combine the 2, using my roommates in the video and the game as a basis for my animation. I think this software would be handy and fun to play around with in the future, and it was quite rewarding to see how my work turned out. I think in the future, I would like to try to do hand-drawn animation, or maybe just make an animation with less of a storyline, just a bunch of random art and trippy images. I also hope to in the future make animations look smoother and more cohesive. I enjoyed the process of making the shoebox and compiling all my ideas into one photoshop document. I also think the process of making the shoebox helped me plan my animation better because I was able to get a visual overview of all the different parts before taking all the time into editing them and putting them together. I also made multiple different shoeboxes for difference scenes, which was proven to be helpful in my organization and planning.Â
